AGHE Collection of Syllabi for Courses in Aging (Two Volumes). Submissions were reviewed and compiled by members of the AGHE Publications Committee. 2004. $45 AGHE members; $60 non-members (each volume purchased separately) or $80 AGHE members; $110 non-members (both volumes).
This selection of sample course syllabi will assist faculty in the development of coursework in aging. Volume 1 contains 52 syllabi covering core courses in aging (biology, health, psychology, adult development, research, program evaluation, social policy, sociology). Volume II contains 39 syllabi covering elective courses in aging (the family, human services, humanities, cultural deiversity, minorities, ethics, gender, long-term care, nutrition, professional issues in aging).
