Consider participating in this exciting AGHE networking event. Attendees will learn about cutting-edge gerontology topics from content experts through a set of slide performances.

What is Pecha Kucha? Pecha Kucha is an exciting way to provide information at conferences. It is an image-based slide presentation style that is concise and fast-paced. It allows for speakers to share images on a variety of topics.

Pecha Kucha at AGHE: Ten presenters will share 6 image-based slides portraying the topic. Slides are shown for 20 seconds each and speakers present a comment or two at the conclusion of the presentation. Each presenter will have a total of 2 minutes to share slides. After each presenter shares his/her Pecha Kucha images, they return to their table. At the conclusion of all slide presentations, each presenter will lead a discussion at one of the tables. At this point, session attendees will be encouraged to move and sit at the table with the topic that interests them based on the images that were shared. After attending the session, attendees will have a deeper knowledge of contemporary gerontology topics.
